Saturday Results

Caulfield

Firstly, I agree with Lloyd Williams. The track is a disgrace.

Race 4: Brannigan (2nd, $1.30)

Second just to Classiconi. Good run and will pay to follow, track bias probably hurt.

Race 5: Regal Roller (3rd, NTD)

Went around ok, another probably caught out by the track bias. Don't give up on him yet.

Race 6: Readyforcatherine (midfield, not certain)

A little disappointing, will look for something easier for her. Winner Danerich was very impressive.

Race 7: Honest Politician (1st, $8.20, $2.50)

The race went exactly the way I said it would, Honest Politician settling forward, and Flowerdrum unable to run her down. Paid $8.20 the win which was good.

Rosehill

Race 4: Our Highlander (2nd, $1.60)

Just beaten in a photo by the smart Snippetson.

Race 5: Zumanity (4th)

About a neck out of third. Winner Railings is very smart and will pay to follow.

Race 6: Red Oog (1st, $3.60, $1.40)

Won paying $3.60, in a blanket finish. Not sure what he is being set for, but a very smart horse.

Race 7: Pendragon (3rd, $2.30)

Made excellent ground to finish third. Will get a trip, definite Spring Champion horse. Winner Paratroopers is very smart. Oh yeah, Darren Beadman is a genius.

Race 8: Virage De Fortune (Midfield, unplaced)

They set an outrageous pace in front, allowing three cats to come on from the back and win. She was three wide the journey. Make no mistake, this is a smart filly, just a combination of factors worked against her today. All things considered she put in a good run.

So, overall:

9 Tips

2 wins, paying $3.50 and $8.20 respectively.

4 other placings.

If you had $1 e/w on all of them: $2.90 ahead.

Not bad but not brilliant.
