Wednesday 30/11
Interesting days racing for this time of year...
Sandown R1, no.3: Tanabota
By Redoute's Choice, won a Geelong 2YO maiden by more than three lengths. Trained by a Japanese guy (which should hopefully get us better odds), but very impressive on debut. Should win.
R4, no.4: Tenfold
Trained by Lee Freedman and won a Cranbourne maiden comfortably last start. Plenty of upside and a good chance here.
R5, no.4: Evilweb
Most impressive two starts ago before failing at long odds on at Cranbourne last start. Just needs to be ridden BACK, and on her Valley run should win. Freedman/Nikolic.
R8, no.12: Living Hell
Won a Geelong maiden by five lengths under a grip. By Danehill out of Melbourne Cup winner Jezabeel. Trained by Freedman, likely long odds on, but should win again against moderate lot.
Doomben R8, no.1: Dignity Prince
Screaming out for the mile and gets it here. Likely favourite is Hawkes trained beautifully bred Agents. I am happy to ignore the hype. Each way.
Randwick R4, no.1: Svenska
Badly ridden and had no luck last start. Senior rider H. Bowman on. Not a strong lot here, and has a bit of class.
R5, no.1: Clevergaze
Been ultra consistent without winning. Down in class and scratched from last couple for this. Form around Dress Suit, The Hammer, and Malcolm is super for this. Probably start short.

Echuca Wednesday and bendigo Thursday
Only the one at echuca and two at Bendigo on Thursday so will post them together.
Echuca.
5/4 Orta be ruthless. Is first up but did win first up last time in and on home track will take a lot of beating here.
Bendigo.
6/7 Prince bonton. Is one of my favorite horses on the way up and won well for us last time worth following but not sure what value we will get.
8/1 Atelier. Nicely drawn here but will find the 11 Conner Patrick hard to beat but each way chance here.

Monday Charlton
Have three including two in one race so please yourself in it.
7/1 merri operator. Will be fitter for first up 2nd and beautifully drawn here will be hard to run down.
7/5 Davisons destiny. This horse is first up and is usually well supported fast time trial winner at Bendigo not a big wrap for the driver but horse is smart each way here.
8/6 Als gift. Nice run last week after racing roughly is on last chance to race truly but if it does will just about win this.

Marybourgh Sunday
Only the one and should be ok odds as form not that good but did win trial by a big margin at Bendigo
4/9 Spot the raider.
In the miracle mile we werent that far off had the quinella in our 4 selections. The 3 led but didnt find that much taken on early by Sokyola who then took sit behind pushing It is i back on the fence and effectively out of race. The surprise to me was Robin hood who finished hard for 3rd and It is i finally got out and ran 4th Sokoyola dropped out and finished last.Nothing can e taken of the winner Johhny be good or the 2nd Slipnslide.

Firday night tips
Only got a couple fo tips for tonight.
Tralalgon Race 3/5 JONEWAR - has been racing good times but not winning. Should improve here against a poor field. This will probably pay well but the dog is inconsistent. The favourite will be Bush Flyer and would be my only other tip in the race. Bush Flyer is untested at this extended distance though.
Tralalgon Race 9/3 FRANKLIN DELIGHT - quick starter who should get to the lead early and keep it.
Good Luck

Melbourne Cup review
The Melbourne Cup has been won by Box 1 four times in a row now.
Well our tip got up last night and railed the entire race to win easily by a length. Bond and Paua to Burn were disapointing but I was impressed by See you Later. He was toward the end of the field at the end of the first turn and managed to get to 3rd.
Good Luck

Miracle mile Preview
i haave posted tabs fixed odds betting on the time honoured Miracle mile.
It is i $2.65
lookslikelightning $2.65
Be good johnny $7.00
Robin hood $9.00
Slipinside $13.00
Foreal $17.00
SOKYOLA $17.00
The race this year has been surrounded by controversy with the proposed sale of Looklikelightning not happenning and finishing up in the hands of lawyers and the scratching on Tuesday of Sly flying.
When the race finally gets going at 9.45 edst the controversy will be forgotten as 7 horses battle out for the tittle of fastest horse in Austalasia.
My thoughts on the race for what they are worth i think Lookslike lightning will lead with It is i on the rails looking for a run with no sprint lane will need a lot of luck. The pace will be frantic with horses like Be good Johhny and Slipinslide and also the marvel Sokyola finishing hard.
In summary i think Lookslikelightning will lead throughout from It is i and johhnybegood filling the places.
Have no tips at all today at Ballarat and dont tip at Moonee valley so quiet day.

Melbourne Cup tonight
Well the Melbourne cup (Greyhounds) is running tonight.
I have gone over the current form of the dogs and it is going to be a very close race, with four good chances.
The early market shows
$ 1.70 Bond - Box 2
$ 4.50 Paua To Burn - Box 6
$ 5.00 Closing Argument - Box 1
$ 10.00 Go Forever - Box 8
$ 13.00 Fenceline - Box 4
$ 21.00 See You Later - Box 5
$ 26.00 Suppression - Box 3
$ 61.00 Bonshaw Boy - Box 7
My tip: Closing Argument follwed by Bond and Go Porever.
Bond has been in sensational form with his recent 2 wins.
Paua To Burn has found some recent form and should go well
Closing Argument is a fast dog and should go well from this box.
Go Forever has been racing well but may be outclassed here.
Fenceline is inconsistent. He is a chance but always hard to tell.
See you Later beat Pure Octane last week which shows it is in good form. Its a chance as are all the dogs.
Suppression pushed around HAdes Rocket last start. Could cause problems for Bond and Fenceline.
Bonshow Boy has not been great since he fell. Could be coming back into form though.
The way I see the race running is :
Bond and Closing Argument are out fast and striving for the lead. Bonshow Boy pushes out hard and restricts Paua To Burn from getting a clean run. Suppressiona and Go Forever give chase. There will be some heavy checking going into the first turn. Bond ay run wide on the first turn and get caught in the clutter if he isn't leading. But Closing Argument will rail and take the lead. From here Bond will be chasing with Go Forever. Because of the checking to Bond and slow start for Go Forever, Closing argument will open a slight lead and he should hold it till the final post, with Bond coming second and Go Forever in for third.
Well thats the way I would like to see it, and based on their running styles should be the way it plays out.
Regardless of what is said above all of these dogs are in good form and running quick. Any dog could win, but for conistentancy and value you can't go past Closing Argument.
Good Luck.

A good night at Bendigo with two winners and a second and one unplaced. The ones i really liked won and backed them accordingly. The one at Bathurst didnt do much.
Bendigo
3/6 Atelier. Finished 2nd and was a good run got caught wide so went backe to last made a sustained run in the last lap worth following.
5/9 Moon shot. Was unplaced as had its three starts for us and did win one.run last night not as bad as seemed got caught three wide for entire race and did hit the front on home turn but then tired. Is worth following when better drawn.
7/9 Prince bonton. Gave nothing else a chance and was never in doubt.I do think this is a good horse in the making still pretty green.
8/6 Sportspower. Also never in any doubt and also seems a bit green keep following both these horses.
Bathurst
1/11 Specklefoot. Didnt see race but going by call didnt really fire a shot and was at long odds.

Thursday Shepparton Cranbourne Newcastle and Penrith
A bit of a mixed bag today probably a couple of strong chances and a couple of rough hopes.
Shepparton
4/3 Real fuel. Really place hope at best the 7 Toe taper shuld be too good for these perhaps quinella horse and place.
Cranbourne.
Heart beats true. ist up since June driver in good form and can win this on best form.
Newcastle.
7/4 Albert brown. has won here and should be fitter now each way chance.
7/7 Nippon too.Wasnt a bad first up run not over hard race and another each way chance.
Penrith
Confident of win here but will be short price favorite.
1/5 kyella dreamtime. Should just win
4/5 High country.has been in the market at all aussie runs except last one when finished last had trialed well before that so expect improvement here.

Wednesday Greyhounds
Two tips for Wednesday night racing:
THE MEADOWS 6/ 8 SLEEK PHYSIQUE
This dog is clearly the front runner in this pack. He should have a clear run from box 8 and hopefuly gets in front of any trouble before the turn.
BALLARAT 6/8 BLUE MANIA AND 6/6 SAINT ASSASSIN
BLUE MANIA has been running some good times recently and seems to be the dog in form. The Danger is SAINT ASSASIN. Might be worth a Quinella. I don't see any other competition in this race. The only reason I have taken BLUE MANIA over SAINT ASSASSIN is because of the recent wins andSAINT ASSASSINs recent problems with getting to the line first.
Good Luck.

Wednesday 22/11
Big one at Ballarat tomorrow:
Race 3, no.3: California Luck
3YO half brother to Special Harmony, King Canute etc. Only his third start, won a 1600m Cranbourne maiden by five lengths last time. Some reasonably smart types so hopefully get a price somewhere near even money. L. Freedman/N. Callow.
Other tips for Ballarat:
R1, no.3: Causeway Lass
2YO By Giant's Causeway out of a full sister to super sire Canny Lad.
R2, no.1: Tarzi
Last start second in Saturday class should be strong enough here.
R3, no.3: California Luck
As above.
R4, no.3: Februarytwelve
R5, no.3: Cos Snip (Super first up record)
R6, no.1: Danalaga
R8, no.6: King Alfred
Really good card for a midweek meeting at this time of year.
Only one in Sydney.
R3, no.3: Choicely
Top run last start - into my black book. Beadman on.

Bendigo
3/6 Atelier. Will be fitter for one run back from spell go close
5/9 moon shot. form ok and each way chance here.
7/9 prince bonton .I think this horse is quite smart and a bit unlucky last time go close here.
8/6 Sportspower. Should have won last start had race won when veered off the track and through it away follow up.

Tuesday Greyhounds
Well there hasn't been anything to tip for the last few days. Finally there is a good dog running around tommorrow.
Tuesday Horsham Race 8 / 8 NO OBSTACLE
NO OBSTACLE won his last 3 races in sensational times. NO OBSTACLE should get out quick and hold the lead. Watch for CHATILLY LACE to chase hard.
This will be a close match between these two dogs. It is worth the shot at a Quinella or Any2 with 3,8 and/or Trifecta 3,8/3,8/Field
Good Luck.

Greyhounds Friday
Well we had a winner from the 2 races last night but at very short odds. Here are some tips for Friday.
TRARALGON 5/8 MISS SHELLY LEE
Has won in some fast times recently. Should do well from this box. Watch out for LATROBE WARRIOR as he has a chance.
GEELONG 9/8 KINGS N' QUEENS
Racing well yet just finishing outside the top 3. Might be able to get some good value for it. Watch out for LOCHIE ALLEN and KENTUCKY FOOL.
GEELONG 12/2 JAKE'S MENTOR
Ran some good times in its last few races. Should be hard to catch from Box 2. REGAL JAMES is the danger
Good Luck

Thursday Greyhounds
What a great night for watching the greyhounds run around. Sandown has the heats for the Melbourne cup and there is an excellent class of dogs on display. Unfortunately this makes it very hard to find some good winners as there are a number of chances in each race but I have managed to pull out the following :
Sandown Race 6/8 LORD MONELLI and 6/2 PAUA TO BURN
Lord Monelli has been running well recently and can hopefully continue to improve. The danger is number 2 PAUA TO BURN. Have a go on each. I believe 8 has a better chance as Number 1 could take out PUAU TO BURN. But PAUA TO BURN is a quick starter and might be able to avoid the trouble.
Sandown Race 11/1 GOZO FARMER and 11/4 DYNA GOLD
Won 12 straight recently. His last 2 starts haven't been great but one was at a very short distance which is a bit short. He won 12 straight recently. The only danger I see is number 4 DYNA GOLD who has been racing well recently with 2 wins.
Good Luck.

5/1 Oscar dela fighter .came home well last start and will find this a bit easier good chance.

Wednesday Greyhounds
Here are some tips for Wednesday :
Sandown Race 10/8 FILL THE MIT - This dog has been placing a lot recently and hopefully it can get up for the win today. It possess the best speed in the race.
Sandown Race 12/8 SLEEK PHYSIQUE - This is a hard race and I think we should get good value for this dog. Watch out for the dogs from Box 1 and 2 to get away quick as well.
Warrnambool Race 9/6 SMANER GIRL - Should lead this the whole way.
Ballarat Race 6/1 CAPE ASSASSIN - He has been winning lately and should continue to win from this box.

Newcastle saturday
A very tough meeting with the highlight being the Newcastle mile a lead up to the Miracle mile.
2/14 Torinda pana. form not real good but did win a trial from the standing start here should be good odds in open race.
4/1 The scorpion king. Won for us last start very tough race as is consolation to the Newcastle mile but will take beating.the 2 is the one to beat.
5/10 Albert brown. Badly drawn but they did win from wide draws at this track so each way.
9/2 Keltic lad. 2nd for us last week in form reversal so eac way again the 5 Deapooli if did its best would be hard to beat as is the 8
As i said a tough night in the main race interesting with the big races in New Zealand on right now Butt has brought the 2 Foreal over obviously trying for a start in the miracle mile.

Tralagon 8/1 Regal Brett He should win from this box easily.

Thursday Greyhounds
Our only top tip not scratched last night ran a poor race. Hopefully tonight will be a lot better. A number of the value tips got up again at good odds.
Best Bets:
Angle Park 5/8 WILD JIM MCLAREN (Confidence 90%)
Value Bets: (Look for greater than $2.50)
Dapto 6/7 SARGENT MAJOR (Cofidence 30%)
Albion Park 1/3 BERELLA ELECTRA (Confidence 40%)
Albion Park 7/1 INCISION -- (Confidence 40%)
I have added a trifecta tip for tonight. There are a number of dogs which don't have a chance. This is a much higher risk bet as there is always a chance a roughie can get up.
Albion Park Race 7 Trifecta - 1,2,6/1,2,6,4/1,2,4,6,7
Total cost of the trifecta is $27 at $1 bet.
Good Luck.

This dog has ran from this box 3 times previous for 2 wins and a fourth. During its last run it placed fourth after being checked. This dog needs a clear run as he usually gets checked hard and has to play catch up. The only danger is Kelso's Law.
Ballarat 3/8 TAMMY'S FOOL (Confidence 60%)
This dog should win easily if he runs to form. He hasn't won from this box yet but today could be that day. This dog needs to be out first as he doesn't play the chasing role too well. Dangers include In Baton Rogue and Dalelahs Getaway.
The Meadows 12/5 SUPERMAN (Confidence 80%)
This dog has potential and it isn't going to have to run its best to win this race. Should be an easy winner. Danger is Flightning.
Value Bets:
Warrnambool 11 Quinella SANTA DOMINGO / Kelsos Law
The Meadows 12 Quinella SUPERMAN / Flightning
The Meadows 5/4 FINAL OUTCOME (Confidence 30%)
This dog has all the good stats but does worry me a bit as he hasn't raced from boxes 4-6 before. His only start from box 3 ended in a fourth. He should have the class on this field though and is worth the bet. Dangers include Fleet of Dreams and Blankety Blank.
Good Luck

Dogs Result and Wednesday Tips
The dogs results for yesterday were quite good with 4 from 5 value tips winning. Only two made the required odds of $2.50, one at $2.60 and the other at $4.40.
Our only top tip not scratched also won easily for $1.70 win and $2.60 place.
This is just one value tip so look for $2.50+.
Ipswich 1/6 Ready Teddy Go. The box might be a slight issue but this dog has won 3 from 3 races. It finds much tougher competition here but should hopefully pull off another win. Due to the increased difficulty of competition this is only a value bet.

Tuesday Dogs
Devonport Race 7 - Number 6 No Show (Confidence 70%)
This dog is winning 50% of its races and has lost the last 2 due to running into some trouble and some good competition. He should come back to form in this race and I would expect an easy win against this class of competition. Possible upsets include Number 8 Liquid Ram and Number 3 Lets Get Cheeky.
Devonport Race 8 - Number 1 Tranquil Tide (Confidence 50%)
There are some good dogs in this race but I think Tranquil Tide will have a nice clear run from Box 1. He should get out quick and hold the lead for the race. Possible upsets include Solberg who will find it hard out of box 5 and Secret Intent running from Box 8.
Look for Value Bets ($2.50+)
Gawler Race 9 - Number 1 Herk (Confidence 40%)
Ipswich Race 9 - Number 5 Judge Bros (Confidence 40%)
Lismore Race 4 - Number 4 Kulu Magic (Confidence 45%)
Mandurah Race 5 - Number 2 Baby Chloe (Confidence 30%)
Mandurah Race 10 - Number 1 Teddy Allfire
Long Shot - ( $8.00+ e/w)
Lismore Race 4 - Number 2 Yellow Fantasy (Confidence 30%)
This dog could turn it around against this competition. It needs a clean break line from box 2 to have a chance.

Tuesday Araarat and Wednesday Bendigo
Will post them now as we have only the one at Ararat and it is a roughie with no real confidence.
6/6 Niasioux have vowed never to tip this horse again as a bit suss re driver but is down in class here and does begin well so may cause an upset.
Bendigo
Fairly confident here so will probably bomb out but think all selections are good chances.
5/6 Sportspower. Atouch dissapointing when second last start but this is home track and is smart go close.
7/5 prince Bonton, Been waiting for this horse will go very close here as will be fitter for first up run when fourth and has won a trial since Big chance.
8/2 Agean lady 7yo mare having only second race start was well backed at debut when got to far back but came home well ,driver was suspended for two weeks for drive. Will go very close in this.

Result Yarra valley
The piper finished second after leading and setting fast pace ,looked to have race won but was swamped on the line by a swooper. The horse i thought was the danger deathseated and probably brought the downfall of The Piper.

Friday Dogs
I have not had a chance to check scratchings ( see Race 12 at Mandurah for notes on tips ).
Albion Park Race 3 Number 1 Detective Dan (Confidence 50%)
He should fly from this box and get a clean run over the distance. The confidence on this tip is low as it is a short race and I do prefer the longer races.
Mundurah Race 12 Number 2 Sickabills (Confidence 90% without Number 10 running Confidence 60% with Ikari Rapid Running)
This dog has a lot of class and has the best box time of any of these dogs. Should win easily from this box. The next best compeition ( and the only dog I rate as having a chance to beat him is Number 10 Ikari Rapid.
There are a couple of dogs to keep an eye on. They will more than likely be short and I won't regard them as a tip. They are just dogs to look for value on. I only regard the above top 2 races as tips today.
Tips:
Albion Park Race 3 Number 1 Detective Dan (Confidence 50%)
Mundurah Race 12 Number 2 Sickabills (Confidence 90% without Number 10 running Confidence 60% with Ikari Rapid Running)
Look for value:
Albion Park Race 4 Number 8 Intent Pressure ( confidence 30%)
Albion Park Race 5 Number 7 Doozra ( Confidence 30%)
Trarlagon Race 3 Number 3 Regal Brett (Confidence 30%) or Number 7 Miss Shelly Lee (Confidence 30%). ( Third best is Magic Lance - Confidence 15% )

Thursday Dogs Results
Top Races 6
Winners 4
Return Profit : 0.3 units
The two dogs which did lose where checked heavily as they left the box. At Dapto the dog fell and ran 20m behind the rest of the dogs for the entire race.
This is the only problem with greyhounds ... they get knocked over a lot.

Jaffa Version 2.0
With Jaffa on a break from posting tips, we're trialling a new dogs tipster:
Here are my tips for todays races. Not as confident today as a lot of the races are close. No Quinellas either as the competition is just too close.
There are only 2 real hot tips being at Dapto Race 6 and Sandown Park Race 11. No matter what price they show they should win.
Albion Park - Race 9 Number 8 Incision ( Confidence 60%)
This dog has some great speed and I have to rate him highest with 6 wins from 12 races. He could amke it another win here but will face some stiff compeition in Boxes 1 and 2 ( Rodeo Bob and Wally pockets ). I think Incision should have a clear run across the field as the 2 dogs inside him are much slower out of the box.
Dapto - Race 6 Number 3 Run a Glow ( Confidence 80% )
This dog is quick. He has an ok box draw. He should get out quick and hold the lead. There is a chance Number 1 could get out ahead of him and check him. If this doesn't happen I don't think this dog can lose. The next best dog in the race is Number 8 Delta White Boy.
Hobart - Race 7 Number 1 Ralph the Mouth ( Confidence 60%)
This dog has only just started running to form in the last six
months. It has been placing regularly with the odd win. I think it should outclass these dogs. The next best dogs are Marananga Jet and Supa Instinct.
Sandown Park - Race 5 Number 4 Bently Jane (Confidence 75%)
This dog is very good. He should get out fastest and hold the lead the whole way. There are some good contenders in this race though and I will be watching number 1 Slick Galore as well.
Sandown Park - Race 9 Number 6 Atomic Jet ( Confiedence 75%)
Hopefully gets out without being checked early. If it can get to the lead it should win. It is also a good chaser.
Sandown Park - Race 11 Number 2 Wokin' Along (Confidence 90%)
This dog is quick out of the box and will lead the race. It
shouldn't tire over the distance and should win easily against this class of competitors.
These tips are all based on a GOOD track condition.

Terang results
Imqteeboy.Actually won but to short for me.Was a good run but anyone who took the short price would have had heart flutters as was 4 wide early and unable to go forward as probably would have broke up,Alford kept it under firm hold and gradually went around field to hit the lead and go on to a comfortable victory.
Damoan Ross Didnt do very much and is proving a costly horse for us so will drop of for now.
cheers

4/12 Oscaredelafighter. Well beaten needs to improve but can and each way here.

Terang Wednesday
Only really have the one today and thinks its winning chance is not real strong but maybe good quinella horse
3/1 Damoan Ross Dissapointing run last week but field not real flash apart from horse 4 from the Manniings stable so perhaps the quinella and exacta.
Will point out that the horse i thought was a certainty last week is in again tonight .
2/7 Imquteeboy not sure if it can start as was stood down to trial again but may have on sunday if it does i will be on again.
