Big one at Ballarat tomorrow:
Race 3, no.3: California Luck
3YO half brother to Special Harmony, King Canute etc. Only his third start, won a 1600m Cranbourne maiden by five lengths last time. Some reasonably smart types so hopefully get a price somewhere near even money. L. Freedman/N. Callow.

2YO By Giant's Causeway out of a full sister to super sire Canny Lad.

Last start second in Saturday class should be strong enough here.

R6, no.1: Danalaga
R8, no.6: King Alfred
Really good card for a midweek meeting at this time of year.
Only one in Sydney.
