Results Tuesday and Wednesday tips
Unsuccesful day at Albion park didnt see the races so cant really comment. Our only placegetter was Imasly who finished 2nd.
Hoping for better luck on Wednesday to start our new month off

2/2 For granted well in the market last start but was checked twice so forget run Will improve here good chance.
2/11Rebel rocket. Huge run last start when 2nd akward draw but will finsh off the race hard good chance also.Cant really split the tips.
Kilmore.
6/1 Land ruler Nice run last time when 2nd drawn to be at least a place chance again
6/3 lombo obsession Backed for a stack and deathseated weakened out of it go close with any luck at all.
7/1 Future assetts. Chocked down last time will go very well here.

Tueday Albion Park
Have a couple there tomorrow will post early as have to go away tonight for a day.
1/9 Fakes typhoon won for us last week and no reason why it cant again.
4/5 Darkwin Has dissapointed at last couple this is last chance .
5/3 Imasly. Been racing fairly went to trials last week and won in good time so may improve here.

Monday results
Have got my internet back so can now post again.
The 2 we had today Monday both won and were good prices
Shayers butler led all the way for easy win and paid over $9 up here
Dont tell lobell deathseated but held on for a narrow win and paid over $10 so was a good day.
On a sadder note have just heard that Jaffa our original dog tipster has lost his wife to cancer.This relly makes the tips seem insignificant but my sympathy goes to John.

Cannington Results Saturday Night
Hope you followed the tips.
Foolish Girl ran a shocker & Miss Maly was a scratching however;
Race 7 Koonung Heights (e/w) ran 2nd and paid $2.80 our Quinella paid $9.60
Race 9 Samrakan won & paid $4.80 & $1.70.
Race 11 Ronray Dancer won & paid $2.30 & $1.10 our Quinella paid $11.30
As usual the NSW TAB paid unders.

Results Friday
Well another poor day for system horses, but with a bit of luck could have been a big one.
We had only the one placing a 3rd but two 4th placegetters at good odds that should have finished closer we also had a scratching.
Numero uno. Tried to lead from barrier one was attacked finaly handed lead over to use the cheats lane but unfortunately the horse that led tired before he could get use of the sprint lane still came home well for 4th.Was payin $44
Boorhaman. Deathseated and looked to have leader covered but hard run took its toll and just missed 3rd.
Lombo obsession Heavily backed to favorite and got caught in death seat dropped out to finish last
On cloud nine led all the way just caught on line for 3rd.
Mcellhatton was scratched.

Blue Diamond Day
Big day of racing headed by the G1 Blue Diamond Stakes.
Caulfield:
R1: 1. Hillfa
Good run first up, and well off with the claim here. Doesn't meet a whole lot here, and should charge home.
R2: 7. Divine Madonna
A lot to like about this filly. Top first up record, Listed race winner at Sandown last start, just ticks all the boxes. Drawn in the car park but should get back anyway.
R3: 8. Mr, Murphy
Should be at any old price, but with little pace here, if Boss goes forward should be hard to run down. Recent form hasn't been too bad. Hasn't won in ages but I think this is his best chance, as only has 53.5 Kg.
R4: 4. Thin And Crispy
Every man and his dog wants to be on God's Own, but at $1.75 he is a lay IMO. Goes from 1000-1400 and I think is generally overrated. Hard to pick a winner outside him, but Thin And Crispy is in form and won a similar race last start. Empress Lily also a chance.
R5: 5. Casual Pass
LOTM is a top horse, and could well win, but second up over 1800m is a risk. Happy to be on Casual Pass at 4th run in, ran well in the Orr, and $8 is a reasonable price.
R6: 3. Due Sasso
Was leaning towards Satin Robes earlier in the week, but am keen on this guy now. Has done everything asked of him and his win in the Prelude was most impressive. By Scenic so shouldn't be a problem at 1200m. Wonderful World is a silly price at $5. Very open race, and no surprise to see a winner at odds.
R7: 12. Perpugillium
Not with much confidence. Absolute lottery race.
R8. 7. Virage De Fortune
Load up!
R9. 13. Queen of the Hill
Should be a little too classy for this lot.
At Rosehill, I love Court's In Session in the Apollo, like At Ease in the Triscay, and think Regreagan will be hard to beat in the Silver Slipper.

Cannington Dogs Saturday Night
Well it should be a punters dream tonight at Cannington there are some great races. Here are our tips.
Race 6 No 8 Foolish Girl, should get a clear run to the first turn, if she does they wont beat her.
Race 7 No 6 Koorung Heights e/w and take No 5 Danni Reltub in the Quinella.
Race 9 No 1 Samrakan, should win this if he puts his mind on the job.
Race 10 No 8 Ronray Dancer, she should run down Harry Reltub, take them both in the Quinella.
Race 11 No 8 Miss Marly, she will win this and the final next week.

Results Thursday
Not a real god day for us yesterday no winners and only one placegetter from our tips.
Newcastle
Silent Witness Well backed and led had a tough run in front and weakened dissapointing
Jape came home ok to finish fourth.
Nippon too also led from barier 10 and went too hard in front and dropped out.
Shepparton
Bellemaker 3rd did it tough again and battled on well.
Thats a shame. Favorite and driver was queried re tatics finished last
Mister marney .Sat behind the leader but was outclassed.

7/8 Tizaknockout. Wins if it runs up to trial form.

Friday Yarra valley and Bendigo
Yarra Valley.
Only have the one and i really only a rough chance but last run was better than it looked.
7/1 Numero uno. Driver was queryed re tactics last start and is nicely drawn here so rough each way chance.
Bendigo
2/7 Boorham Raced roughly although winning last start will be improved and go close here.
3/5 Mcellhatton. Dissapointed last week when led and weakened will find this harder the 1 7 and 10 will be hard to beat. Each way chance as will probably lead.
5/2 Lombo obsession. Is drawn to lead and likes to do so will give a good sight.
6/1On cloud nine. has been in the market last few starts each way from this draw.
Check back in the morning as i will receive more trial results then.

Results Wednesday
Not a great deal of joy today had a couple of placings and that was it.
For granted. Had no luck at all was checked at start and again later in race so forget it went around follow up.
Ladyinred.Dont know what to think drivers tactics queried and noted was short priced fav and finished last.
Land ruler finished 2nd beaten a long way but also beat the rest fairly easily.
Springfield esses. Death seated and got to the front and was run down near the finish finished 3rd.

5/1 Thats a shame .first up here and goes well fresh big chance.
5/3 Bellemaker No luck last start but still good enough to win mixes form a bit but chance here danger to the 1
7/1 Mister marney. May find the 2 too good but is good each way chance.
I am keeping an eye on a horse which hasnt qualified in system but not a bad run first up and will improve

Not too bad a day a couple of winners and 3rd also one unplaced probably showed a small profit
Darkwin. 3rd is not racing up to its trial win.
Permission. Returned to racing in good syle but a bit short for me.
Fakes Tyhoon Nice win came from a fair way back to score paid ok.
Our impression unplaced enough said.

Tuesday Albion park
Have a four today at Albion park and should go close in a couple of them.
Nothing at all at Ouyen.
1/1 Darkwin. Raced a bit rough at first start will be improved by the run big chance here.
2/1 Permission. Unbeaten as a 2yo having first start this season and will go close here first up.
6/10 Fakes typhoon. Was placed at long odds last start wide draw against but each way chance.
9/4 Our imression. was also at long odds when placed eachway again here.

A 2nd was the best we could manage today but as i said in the preview heats of 2yo classics are hard to predict.
Yagemeister was unwanted in betting and didnt do much beaten a long way.
Final exit. 2nd Was also beaten a long way but did beat the rest of the field easily.

Monday tips
Quiet start to the week nothing at Stawell as i dont rate the trials they hold there very highly.
Have a couple at Bulli but be warned they are in heats of a 2yo classic so anything can happen but the 2 we have are winers for us.
6/7 Yagemeister Well backed when led all the way at debut at Bathurst only ran slow time but can imrove on that each way chance here.
8/3 Lively exit. Has been racing well at Newcastle this is a step up in class but may be up to it as is very tough. Also an each way chance.

Results Saturday and one for Sunday
Not a bad night A winner 2nd and a 3rd also a scratching.
Spirit of navajo. 2nd to the horse that i said was hard to beat exacta paid $5 so nice little win. Good run and just missed on the line.
Ultimate mark .Deathseated was heavily backed finished 4th.
Bullet proof 3rd didnt see race so no comment
Kyalla dreamtime Repeated last weeks easy win but at a better price this time.

Only have the one and form not real good but worth something each way

In what seemed to be an easy day for me turned out pretty ordinary with both horses running disapointing races.The only redeeming factor was they were too short to bet on.
Atomic fallout. Couldnt lead and got trapped 3 back on fence used cheats lane to finish 3rd.
Angus roy Missed start and was unplaced also too short to back.

Ballarat.
4/12 Spirit of navajo WA visitor in good stable and had strong wa form will go close the 11 is one to beat.
5/2 Ultimate mark Likes to lead and drawn to do so go close the 4 is quite smart.
Newcastle
2/11 Graham william Won for us last week and can do it again.
5/11Kyella dreamtime Proved much too good last week go close again.
Albion park
4/9 Bulletproof. Ist up since August but will go close in this.

Results Thursday
Ok day with a winner and 3rd from the horses in system and winner and 3rd from the ones out of system.Both horses at Newcastle were unplaced.
Mcellhatton. led and looked to have race in keeping but was grabbed near line finished 3rd.The 2nd horse Kallshue we backed last start when it won is worth following.
Text me next. Strong win at favorite so improvement was expected.
Caitlyn Belle Got too far back did make a bit of ground but disapointing as favorite.
Twograndahand. Also got a long way back and didnt do much will
improve with racing.
Out of system. By the palms strong win as was taken on a long way out but kept fighting.
Prince Bonton 3rd but again disapointing may need a spell.

Friday Echuca and Gold coast
An unusually quiet Friday with only the one at both venues but quite confident they will both get the money.the only problem will be getting on i think as both wil be short prices.
Echuca.
5/1 Atomic fallout. drawn to lead and will win if it gets soft lead.
Gold coast.
8/3 Angus roy. Was a good run at Albion park when 4th easier here and take a power of beating.

Another big day for the tips with 2 winners 2 seconds and 1 unplaced also we had a couple of scratchings.
Twenty first led all the way at a big price to win from our other tip Rocket rob who finished 2nd so we tipped quinella and exacta also the tri with the favorite paid $482 so big win for us.
Mister marney.Finished 2nd paid $4.20 a place up here.

Our good run has continued with a strong win today by Bellemaker Went forward 3 wide and got to the front was headed on turn by favorite but kicked back strongly for nice win

Hunter cup
The running of the Hunter cup on a sunday was a topic of contrevrsy amongst harness fans.Attendance seemed good not sure of tote holds but seemed reasonable.To me the standing start detracts from a race which draws the best horses from both sides of the Tasman.My selectons werent really close although my best roughie Tromos finished 2nd.
Both the winner and 2nd horse used the sprint lane.

Another successful night thanks To Newcastle where we had 3 winners and a 2nd from 4 .
Geelong
By the palms. Caught 3 wide for first lap then got to the front where it stayed until caught by the eventual winner in the straight nice run 2nd.
Albion park
Thomas crown unplaced missed race so cant comment
Angus roy 5th protested against 2nd horse dismissed. Deathseated and got into trouble early in straight not a bad run.
Mishani silencio. Trailed Angus roy and got into trouble when it came back on top of him finished 4th followup.

Friday results
A good day yesterday with 3 winners and a third from our 4 tips sets the bar at a pretty high level now so hard to improve on that.
Live to reign. Nice tough win has plenty of ability this horse.
Ultimate mark .Also a nice win at fair odds.
Dancing with albert. Taken on throughout the race and found plenty to lead all the way at good price quite surprised and did think it was a good thing
Springfield esses. 3rd let us down didnt see race so cant comment.

Orr Stakes Day
Race 1 - Isanami
Competitive in top line 3YO fillies events last Spring without ever threatening. Fresh record isn't great, but once you look into it, has had excuses. Should be at reasonable odds.
Race 2 - Toulouse Lautrec
Going with the Callow running double to open the day, but this horse was a monty to suffer second up syndrome last start, and he did. Classier than all these, and whilst 59 Kg impost is significant, I think he can give this a good shake.
Race 3 & 4
These races are a lottery and I can't tip anything with confidence. If I have to pick one I'll go with Satin Robes in the fillies and Dubai's Choice in the colts.
Race 5 - Strikeline
Bet of the day for mine. Classy mare with outstanding fresh record, goes great at Caulfield. Will get back and should run over fast pace up front. If it's wet, so much the better.
Race 6 - Regal Roller
Caulfield track specialist whose story is pretty well known. If he runs up to his best, there isn't much speed on, they won't catch hin. As good as Lad of the Manor is, with the lack of speed and his wide barrier, he will be too hard to catch.
Race 7 - Orange County
Tough race with a number of winning chances. Orange County is a smart horse who I think can show up at pretty good odds.
Race 8 - Hollow Bullet
Not quite up to top line company but has proven can sprint well fresh. Big field and should be a lot of pace on, can see her running over the top of them.

Results Thursday
A mixed day and night of results 2 winners 1 second and 3 unplaced also we had a scratching.
Ballarat.
Mcellhatton was favorite but dissapointing finished midfield.
Me dolli kit Gave nothing else a chance led all the way for nice win the 8 he i said was worth watching finished 3rd and will one shortly.
Bendigo
Trammell was scratched but we tipped the winner Image of Ella who used sprint lane for a nice win and was well backed.
Cannyopera Started favorite but didnt do much has been stood down for 6 days
Atomic fallout led all the way but went too quick and had nothing left at finish caught near the line.On cloud nine finished 4th

Friday Marybourgh and Cranbourne
Marybourgh have a couple here including a horse i think has its fair share of ability.
4/4 Live to reign. This horse was reponsible for a huge run last start and will go very close in this.
5/11 Ultimate mark. Was well beaten at its last start but does have some ability and had no luck at all improve here.
Cranbourne.
7/3 Dancing with Albert. Had easy lead and win last start and should lead again big chance.
9/12 Springfield esses. Also had no luck last start and could improve each way chance.

Hunter cup thoughts
Have had a look at the Hunter cup to be run the first time on a Sunday.
The biggest question to me is the Standing start as several of the fancies have no real form from the stand.
Very hard to ignore the trial of Slipnslide last monday at Geelong where it trialed and won in fast time from the stand.
I have settled on the 13 Howard bromac @$6.50 seems to be fair value as loves the stand to win from Slipnslide @$7.50 and the most improved pacer going around in 12 Robin hood @$7.For those who like a bit of value perhaps the 5 Tromos who also loves the stand and is quoted @$19 on Sportingbet.
So my final selections are 13 11 12 5.

Results Wednesday
Cafe opera led and looked to have race won but fast pace early took its toll and was caught close to finish for 2nd only average horse this.
Kaos. Still very green led all the way and found a bit when put under pressure will keep improving with racing.
Marty mcfly Was much to good for a fair field led all the way foreasy win.
Dont tell lobell Missed start and was tailed off caught field and came home well is worth following.
In the shadows. Didnt do much and well beaten
Takemeasy. Trailed leader and got out in plenty of time but couldnt catch leader finished 2nd
Time of your life. Also didnt do much.
Finished a bit in front as my best saluted so not a bad day.

Thursday Bendigo and Ballarat
Have a few today and quite confident that we will finish in front.
Ballarat.
3/10. Mcellhatton. First up here is lightly raced and nice trial win at Bendigo. Keep an eye on the 8 if any money for it be on.
6/5 Me doli kit .led last start when beaten by a smart one go close in this.

2/1 Image of ella. First starter who won a trial at Cranbourne in good time bears watching.
2/3 Trammell. Was a good run first up at the Valley go close in this.
3/8 Cannyopera Go close in this after huge first up run.

A very forgettable day with no collects at all.
Our impression is not much good and gone from my selections.
Tizaknockout. Raced roughly and has been stood down to trial again does have ability.
Wandanasbigboots. Deathseated and beaten a long way out need to improve.

Have a few today and fairly confident we will snare a winner or two amongst them.

1/6 In the shadows. Will go very close in this.
2/6 Take m easy. First up here but has won at this track good chance.
7/5 Time of your life. easier race here than last start at Albion park go well.
Horsham.
2/4 Cafe opera. Is fitter now and improved run last start each way.
5/6 Kaos. Did it hard at first start will be better for run go very well in this

5/1 Marty mcfly. Easy win last start when led all the way drawn to do so again.

7/5 Wandanas big boots. Has a driver change here and Max Wishart gets his share of winners for this trainer maybe a chance despite current form which is not flash.

3/8 Our impression. Hasnt got much form to reccomend but has trialed well recently so rough chance.
4/3Tizaknockout. Lighly raced first up since July but will go close on Gold coast trial win.

8/12 Karlshue. Was a ok debut run when got into a bit of trouble did make ground late to be not beaten that far and should be improved.

Could be worth trying the "all ups & parleys"
