R2 - Snippetson

Handy horse on his day who has been scratched from a few for this. Finally drawn a barrier, and has won first up. Should be at each way odds. Change of stable to John O'Shea (from Guy Walter) may help as well.

R3 - Manton

Been ordinary so far this prep, but the step to 2000m will do him the world of good. Depth of the race looks pretty weak. Should be at reasonable odds.

R4 - Serenade Rose

Can't see her possibly losing.

R5 - Our Smoking Joe

Improved massively last prep when stepped up to 2500m. Will be on the pace and strong at the end.

R6 - Paratroopers

The outstanding sprinter-miler of his generation. Been in great form and no reason he won't go on with it.

R7 - Miss Finland

In a tremendously open race, she is a good honest chance. Have to firgive her last start, and with a firm track should be back to here best. Been strong support for her already.

R8 - Lotteria

Blinkers back on and at G1 level should be fit and ready to win. On her form last Spring should win this - Mnemosyne will be hard to beat but will always find it hard coming from so far back.

R9 - Matras

Really promising mare who has won first up over 1400m before. Only needs to run up to her previous form and should win this.
