This post says 7.10 am, but it's 5.11pm where I am (Melbourne) !!??

Check your profile in User CP. Your time zone will be set incorrectly.

I have set it up so that new users are automatically set to AEST. This won't be right for everyone but it will be correct for most new users. It won't change the time setting for any existing users.

Is it just me or is the posting times out of wack? It says I posted my tips (Tuesday) at around 11pm at night yet I posted it at 3:40pm.

Nope - looks good to me. Check your User CP. Your timezone will be wrong.
